The Presidency and the Direction of the Port Authority of Vigo, conscious of the importance of quality in the satisfaction of our clients and users necessities, want to continue the labour started in 2001 with the implementation of the Quality Plan according to UNE-EN ISO 9001 standards. We want this tool to become indispensable to boost an effective and efficient management which could totally satisfy current users and prove our capacities to the potential ones.
Hence, the President and the Director will periodically fix several quality objectives, quantitative and reachable, which will help in defining the direction towards which this entity efforts must be oriented. We compromise to provide all the resources needed to achieve the absolute satisfaction of port clients and users.
The general directives set to fulfil the objectives mentioned above are the following:

Users are the core of all we do and all our work is oriented to understand their necessities, seeking for excellence, at any time, in the rendering of the public services entrusted to us.

To provide services of the best quality at the least possible cost, according with the requirements and specifications established and the normative and legislation in force.

To equip users with the appropriate infrastructures and the maintenance and cleanness needed for the correct development of the activities carried out in the port.

The principle of continual improvement must be installed in all the processes performed by the port.
|

Our staff's compromise is a key to achieve quality and, therefore, we will promote the motiviation, participation, training and development of all the members of the organisation for our entity to success.

Respect to society and the environment is also an indispensable element of our activities and we aim at positively contributing to them throughout the port activities.
